Roaming allowances & fair use
Use the included roaming amount from your monthly data allowance in the EU, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and the Faroe Islands. Calls and texts back to standard UK mobile and landline numbers are included while roaming in Zone 1. Holiday use and fair use apply; premium and other excluded numbers are not included. Other destinations and usage outside the included allowance may cost extra. Calls and texts from the UK to overseas numbers are separate.

Your plan helps someone else stay connected. After three successful monthly plan payments on 30GB, 100GB or Unlimited, you can give someone you know a Community SIM. Their Community SIM includes 3GB of data each month, plus unlimited UK calls and texts, funded for at least six months. Top-ups and extras don’t count towards the three payments.

How do I help a family member or friend?
After three monthly payments on 30GB, 100GB or Unlimited, share a one-time code. They claim through their own account, confirm their identity and complete an eligibility check. Their personal details stay private.
What if I don’t have someone in mind?
Leave it to us. Kettle reviews applications and funds connections for people in the UK who need support, according to available funding. This is how our 3GB and 10GB plans help too.
What happens after six months?
If you’re supporting someone you know, you can choose to keep supporting them after their first six months while you remain on an eligible plan. You can also choose someone else or let Kettle find someone. Connections provided through Kettle’s funding pool are funded for six months.
Can I help someone in my household?
Yes, if they meet the recipient eligibility checks and claim through their own account. You cannot use your code for yourself or move your own paid line onto funded service. Existing or recently closed paid accounts and duplicate Community SIM plans are checked before activation.
What if I leave Kettle?
An activated Community SIM plan continues for the rest of its six months. You will not earn further nomination codes after leaving.
